Sizing Conversion Chart (Herve Leger):

Sizing Conversion Chart (Herve Leger):
Additional Notes on Fit (Herve Leger):
- Extremely body-conscious fit; correct size will be skintight with no loose or baggy areas
- If the dress zips easily, or if you can insert four fingers perpendicular to the body, the dress is too large; try the next size down
- Most dresses from Fall/Winter 2008 run smaller than other seasons; most should size up from their usual size for this season
Special Recommendations (Herve Leger):
Herve Leger is excellent for ladies at the smallest end of the size spectrum (i.e. 00 or 0), especially those who have difficulty purchasing off the rack elsewhere. Looks best on slim or hourglass figures and generally enhances a small bustline. Heavier busts (C cup & above) may find these styles too revealing or low-cut.

Buying footwear can be a challenge; if there is anything more maddening than purchasing apparel online, women’s shoes take the cake.
But wait! Let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Before we talk about sizing, let’s do a quick review of the different types of women’s shoe styles and the relevant terminology we’ll need in order to properly evaluate any given pair.
When discussing women’s shoes, it’s helpful to think of the shoe as 3 separate, but interrelated parts: the upper, the sole, and the heel. The vast majority of shoe style designations are based on varying the styles of these three parts, and the combinations thereof. View the full set of terms in the glossary section, or have a glance at our labelled photo examples of common styles!
Upper
As the name suggests, the upper is the top portion of the shoe, excluding the sole and the heel. This generally is made of fabric, leather vinyl or any number of other synthetic materials. Because the upper is the most visible portion of the shoe, descriptive terms for the upper are often used to designate the shoe’s overall style or type.
Sole
The sole is the bottom portion of the shoe which protects the foot from contact with the ground, excluding the heel. There are fewer variations on the sole than on the upper or the heel.
Heel
The heel is the key element of distinction in women’s fashion footwear. No discussion is complete without a full set of heel terms!

Shoe Size Conversions ( christian louboutin shoes size )

Shoe sizing standards can vary dramatically between different shoe brands, and even for different styles within the same brand. We strongly recommend that you use this chart as a jumping-off point only; please refer to our brand-specific shoe guides for more detailed sizing & fit information!
Note: Most shoe sizing designated “European” corresponds to the “Italy” size scale.
Heel Height Conversions

Keep in mind that the effective heel height of any shoe will be equivalent to:
Measured Heel Height – Platform Height = Effective Heel Height
Thus a 120mm shoe with a 20mm platform will feel the same as a 100mm shoe with no platform when worn.

Christian Louboutin shoes logo
Christian Louboutin shoes are sized using the Italian size scale (to convert between sizing conventions, please refer to our international size conversion chart).
In general, Christian Louboutins run small relative to standard USA sizing. The general rule of thumb is to size up 1/2 size from your “normal” size in mainstream brands. For more specific fit information, please see the style-specific guidelines.
For those who are already familiar with Christian Louboutin, we consider your “typical” Christian Louboutin size to be your size in the Simple, New Simple, Very Prive or Numero Prive styles.
Armadillo / Turbella
Runs slightly large vs. typical Christian Louboutin sizes, especially in leather fabrications. Most wearers are likely to require heel grips at some point in time, as the heel cup tends to stretch with wear.
•effective heel height: 100mm (120mm – 20mm platform)
•wide feet: standard Christian Louboutin size (leather & satin)
•medium feet: 1/2 size down from standard Christian Louboutin size (leather), standard Christian Louboutin size (satin)
•narrow feet: 1/2 size down from standard Christian Louboutin size (leather & satin)
Fit Issue Alert: the d’Orsay cut of the Armadillo/Turbella is not recommended for those whose feet are wide at the ball of the foot, but narrow in the heel. This type of foot is not suited to the proportions of the toe box vs. the heel cup in this shoe style.
Patent Leather (all styles)
Patent leather versions tend to run small; 1/2 size up from kid leather or suede version of the same model.
Pigalle 120
Pigalles exhibit significant fit variation compared to both Christian Louboutin and mainstream shoe sizing. Typically the pigalle runs large and most will need to size down from their typical Christian Louboutin size. The vamp of the pigalle is low-cut on both the sides and the front; some toe cleavage will be revealed.
•effective heel height: 120mm
•wide feet: standard Christian Louboutin size or 1/2 size down
•medium feet: 1/2 size down from standard Christian Louboutin size
•narrow feet: 1 full size down from standard Christian Louboutin size
Fit Issue Alert: Narrow feet may not be able to wear this style! The low cut of the vamp means this shoe may not stay on very narrow feet as the material simply does not extend high enough to surround the foot sufficiently.
Pour Monsieur
Fit Issue Alert: The decorative bows on this style project inward (towards each other) from the top of the shoe, which makes walking in them extremely awkward as the tips of the bows tend to catch on one another with each step. Be prepared to make some modifications to make them more practical for normal wear.
